My morning sunshine, earthside was blessed

First time we held you when we met

In dreams I wondered how it would it be

To hear you coo and see you beam

With fire and will, emerged to the world

Thrown to me, my heart stole all my words

This precious one who tore paths away

Took my whole heart, I carry no pain

Nurses and doctor’s rushed patoi fades

Your voice on stained tile echos away

Talks before cries, hellos in jubilee

Little blue eyes shine for us only

Soft sweet hums chime as you breathe fresh air

The delight of you swells, burns bright and flares

Another star is in my night sky

May you live long, have joy in your life

Your heart carries light from stars celeste

By gods and ancestors you were blessed

Thank you for choosing our family

Welcome to the world, my dragon baby
