In honor of my first public poetry reading, I wanted to share this poem i wrote in seventh grade. Not to brag but it was pushed in a contest

Life goes on

Life moves fast when you freeze up

And kicks you when you're down

It won't wait for you to catch up

Or pick you off the ground

And you gotta keep going

And never look back

Life will go on

even when you don't

Nobody can live in the past

Life goes on. You'll live on

One day some way you'll move on

There's so much more that you could do

If you could just move
